Hot off the presses! Tyra walked the red carpet and picked up a style award at the VH1 Do Something Awards! In this slide show, Tyra takes a shares with us some of her favorite red carpet looks.
What's not to love? They give you a long, lean look, are as easy to wear as a dress (except for that urination thing) , but have a little extra oomph. It's no wonder I've worn them to my last two red carpet appearances! For the Teen Choice Awards, I rocked one from Thierry Mugler. Lots of peeps said it was saucy-sexy, but to me it was more of a playful kind of bumblebee- meets-Catwoman thing. I'm a big fan of yellow (check my matching toes!), but, wooo, let me tell you, a leather jumpsuit ain't the breeziest thing to wear on a hot L.A. day! My makeup was threatening to melt right off. I did my hair and face myself—I loved doing the winged liner, but thank God the eyelash glue I used dries invisibly, cause I got it all over my face! And I'd love to say the orange lipstick was a strategic pop of color to go with the yellow in the jumpsuit, but actually it was just the only bright shade in my little travel makeup kit. (I keep the real stuff in New York).
Anyway, the look must have worked, because Mr. Justin Bieber tried to hook me up with Sean Kingston. That Bieber has got swagger—Sean is more like a little bro to me! Still, Justin is just as sweet as he was when I met him pre- Bieber Fever—no "I'm the biggest friggin' star on the planet" vibe there.
Okay, on to the VH1 Do Something Awards. Everyone kept asking me what big name designer did my color block jumpsuit, but chile, my wonderful seamstress Claudia Diaz made it from scratch. Sometimes when my booty or boobies don't fit in those designer samples, I just like to get something homemade. That night I was nominated for the Style award and I won! My speech was long as hell, but I ignored the 'get off the stage NOW' signs flashing at me, because I had important stuff to say about my passion to expand the definition of beauty and make women of all shapes and sizes feel gorgeous and sexy!

IS THAT TYRA IN A JUMPSUIT AGAIN? HELL YES!
ОтветитьУдалитьOops, I did it again! Yep, I rocked the long legged romper. The thing that I must get naked in order to pee. The thing I'm obsessed with . Jumpsuits!
